I Have an Idea for the old ME1 ships to be fitted into here, I call it the "Eden Prime Resistance Fleet" or EPRF.
I must say the ME1 Cruiser had a certain "Fling" to it, I personally loved it.
You could include it as the Copenhagen Class which was the one seen in ME1, ME2 was supposed to display the cruisers being refitted but it never made it into any of the DLC or the main story, it was to be dubbed the Copenhagen Class.
You could use it as a new power in the fight to band together all you can, like a new research power "Eden Prime Resistance" though they are scattered the resistance on Eden Prime banded together and pulled 20 old Copenhagen Classes out of the junkyards and retrofitted them.
This would give the player over 30-35 Copenhagen Class Cruisers at their homeworld, and a few first gen fighters. This would be for the Paragon Council side as many of the ships lost in the fight for the council wound up into the junkyards.
Their Relative Strength would be the equivilent of 10 heavy cruisers.
As they would be pretty weak on their own, they do add some decent firepower in an existing fleet.
I love the Idea of bringing together everyone that you can find.
to be able to get it I belive using a Defensive structure of some kind, which allows the summoning or "Salvaging" of the Copenhagen Classes, which would call in those who wish to fight and gives them a decent ship to do so. Basically we could call it a Refugee Militia outpost, where all those who wish to get payback for their lost worlds, train to fight and get out there.
Again since many of the alliance ships in the paragon side were destroyed
there would be an abundance of them in junkyards and Alliance Ship Graveyards.
they would be reletively cheap, and fast to build but not all that powerful and their shields would match that of a normal Alliance Frigate.
would be a cool power to have for council.
