So yea, a thread to discuss all about Leviathan, thoughts and possible addon to the mod one day.

so if you read Lord_Set's comment on Moddb.com then you know he is looking for reference shots of the Leviathans, I think this would be a great addition to the mod in many ways.
One Idea is to work the artifacts from the DLC in there to act as a form of "Reverse" indoctrination, something which could allow the Leviathans to control reaper forces and in rare chances reapers themselves.
obviously this effect cannot span to all reapers at once but still, just trying to get the ball rolling.

I honestly don't see how anything relating to the Leviathan DLC can fit in the mod. No new ships, nothing new except the fact that we know the Reapers are based off an entirely MORE bad*** species still in the galaxy. If you can think of a way for them to be in the mod, by all means share with us. And by the way, If the Leviathans are more powerful than the Reapers, what's stopping them from dominating the galaxy at the end of ME3 if the Reapers are wiped out? (assuming you pick the destroy ending)

from what I saw in the DLC they were poised as deitys, and after their harvesting there is not much chance they would be willing to make the same mistake twice.
but as for them being in the mod Lord_Set did hint at some interest and I think there may be some aspects for them to be in the mod.
how about having them as drifter drops, basically units found on a random planet, their main usage would be neutral Indoctrination platforms or wrather capturable ships which capture enemy ships.
or even the artifacts could be useful, like one on every planet and once you capture a Leviathan it allows you to see every planet, but when it is destroyed the vision dies with it.

That would nullify the Shadow Broker's ship ability.

yea but the shadow broker ship has many uses both research and resource bonuses, the only other bonuses for the orb artifacts would be control of reaper forces.

Maybe the Leviathans can be the Council capital ships.

"It is possible that the Leviathans further enhanced themselves cybernetically, allowing them to use element zero to travel through space and breathe air with the use of filtration systems. They might even have modified themselves with biotic amplifiers." masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Leviathan

How I see it, the paintings we see on the dig site have giant red markings far off the leviathans themselves, so what Im thinking is those red markings are giant harnasses, with their power and mass itself I belive they have the ability to control reapers...so they should get the ability to call 3 sovreign class reapers each and thats the limit.
imagine having 3 Leviathans spread out the map all of them capturable, imagine the gameplay!

And how could you achieve that? How could the leviathans staying in life in the space? And what kind of weapons have they get?

Well, they've got some biological equivalent of an EMP that seem pretty damn powerful for a start, then they can 'dominate' other organics, and if those organics have ships, well they could you those for protection and as weapons. As for surviving in space, well same as any organic, really thick woolen underwear.

And what kind of underwear is that you said?

Very thick woolen thermals, that ought to do the trick.
