I was wondering....
There seem to be many types of fighters for two of the factions in this mod. The Council has the Turian and alliance fighters and interceptors while the reapers have Geth fighters and oculuses, I was wonder if you would be able to have it so that Turian ships produce Turian fighters and alliance ships produce alliance fighters while for the Reapers the Geth ships produce Geth fighters and the reaper and collector ships produce oculuses.
Also there are two classes of fighters There are the fighters that are meant to piss of frigates and cruisers and there are also interceptors used to destroy fighters and other interceptors. Will this aspect be taken into account or are there going to be just fighters and bombers?

Fighters are interceptors bombers are fighters. Different words used for the same job. The standard sins game already comprises of the two. There are plans (hopefully still in place) to have Turian figters and Geth fighters as well as the other small one man ships. I don't know the roles they'll be playing or if they will be specific to the race they belong too.

I know that Sins of a Galactic Empire incorporated 4 types of fighters with the last 2 being upgrades of the previous two. However, it was made possible to have 4 types of fighters assigned to one ship. Couldn't you guys just give ships 3 types of fighters instead? Although I do like the idea of fighters being specific to the ship of the same race. I don't know how that would work but if you guys can make Turian fighters only possible to build from Turian ships and the same for the alliance, geth, and reapers that'd be even more awesome

I don't think the squadron aspect should be expanded as they bloat the game (in multiple ways).

Since the fighter are more used for a support role, could the have abilities they can use to harass frigates and other small ships. Can you guys also make the control of the fighters better (seeing the fact that fighters will be able to shoot beside them and fly though buildings and planets). Can you also make the priority of the interceptors to destroy other interceptors first or would these ideas break the engine of the game?

You can't prevent fighters or interceptors from flying through buildings. Its just a feature of the game mechanic. You can assign the types of fighters to specfic ships, so theoretically we can assign the Turian fighters and interceptors to Turian ships. You can select fighters and bombers in game to target specific ships of your choice, and I dont know if you can change the targeting solution of interceptors to target other interceptors before fighters.

Don't fighter squadrons put precedence on attacking bomber squadrons before attacking other squadrons and ships?

Don't fighter squadrons put precedence on attacking bomber squadrons before attacking other squadrons and ships? Yeah, pretty much. It goes, bombers, ships, structures.

Will the turian and alliance fighters and interceptors have different stats, turian craft have more armor while alliance craft have more firepower, or turian craft have higher health while alliance craft have a faster build rate. I was wonder what the strategic use of different strike craft will be.

How about if turian fighters would be semi good at fighing and semi good at bombing, like between interceptors and bombers.

With what I know so far Alliance carriers will field Alliance interceptors and bombers. I don't know if Set will continue with that Turian carrier concept he made way back when but the Turian fighters will definitely be in game.

Maybe you can put Turian fighters only in Turian and Salarian capital ships or in Hangar-bay defenses if they're Turian hangar-bays.

I'm a little curious, as it was brought up in this thread, is the Turian Carrier idea still in effect? I just looked at the model from way back when and it looks good to my mind, worthy of a look at.

Currently there is the human carrier. Capital ships will also be able to hold fighters
