Didn't know where to put this so I thought I'd just make a new thread lol.
So I was thinking of canonical ways to make gameplay unique from the vanilla sins. In the games, the codex talks about HE3 being the main fuel source right? What if this replaces antimatter?
Not only that but in the game fuel doesn't regenerate like it does in Sins. So what if you mod the fuel regeneration down to 0% and make it that only going in orbit around a gas giant will help you refuel.
I seem to remember hearing Set talk about changing anti-matter to heat retained in the ship and that the ship would have to discharge the heat to continue firing. This would also be cool. I still think that working in refueling at helium 3 stations would be cool.

Lord_Set: " weapons also use antimatter or "endurance" as us in the r&d department call it."
That's all that I remember concerning the matter. So It will be changed to "Endurance". *shrug*

I still think that working in refueling at helium 3 stations would be cool. The AI cannot handle re-fueling concepts. It needs to be a simple system the AI can readily accomplish as there is no way to script the AI.

what about passive refueling, like tactical support structures to regenerate "endurance" etc. kinda like the antimatter regeneration bay.

Yeah, you're right. I think Lord_set said he was going to call it endurance though.

What about EEZO. Or waste heat. Combat in ME is supposed to be quick with fleets building up heat that they have to vent and keep low and they hit a point were they cant vent heat fast enough and have to withdraw or they could cook the crew.
