So I posted this on the mod page but I wanted to put it on the official forums mainly. I also was reminded that the Batarians are the planetary defense forces not pirates and that pirates will be the merc factions.
"I was just thinking on a few things though after playing through the series again. I would love to see you guys maybe have some planetary bonuses that reflect the planetary codex entries such as high gravity, bad weather or what I was personally thinking of, being too close to the terminus systems thus giving a large negative bonus to population. (Think virmire).
I think it would also be cool if you guys worked in some nods to some of the in game corporations such as ERC and others.
Last thought, after you guys finish all your work on the main three factions, I thought it would be awesome if instead of the pirates just being batarians, having the pirates be the terminus systems. You could work to flesh the pirates out as almost a 4th (unplayable) faction. Where the batarians could be the main force but you could have some other pirate ships too. It'd be cool for playing a match with the council, maybe Cerberus and just try to expand with a very large terminus systems presence."

How about a prothean archive that boosts research speed or lowers the cost. Nice idea for the batarians. they are said to be in a proxy war with the alliance using batarian "privateers" to strike at the alliance. Have the omega station that gives a big boost to eezo. A planet could have leviathans that make you immune or less susceptible to reaper indoctrination or boosts it if you play as reapers. I think it would be cool to have some key planets with important bonuses that make you want to hold them at all costs. I hate how in sins you have nice planets you want to hold on to but nothing that is crucial.
