I posted this on the MODDB site and Lockered said it would be posted better here and I just wanted to get others opinions on this. I think it would fit for the Reapers not to bombard worlds but to instead "Harvest" them. Have either a collector ship or a reaper "processor" ship to take the population and remake them to serve the reaper. This would take the population and "change" them into resources at a conversion rate that could be increased with research. 100 pop = 100 credits 50 metal 10 eezo. (Not sure what you are using for resources. The Alliance I think would be cool if you land troops; Marines. Turians, Krogan, etc. Cerberus is the one I am not sure on. They do the same thing as the reapers in ME 3 on Horizon. Maybe a mix of landing troops and either getting a few resources or a boost to research since they were using the civilians as "test subjects." I wouldn't like to see the ships just blowing the planets away. It doesn't really fit with the lore. The races that make up the Citadel have rules against bombarding garden worlds so it really wouldn't fit with them. Plus the Reapers "harvest and store" the races of each cycle to preserve them. It is stated in the codex that one race is used via the gooey meltdown technique that we see at the end of ME 2 to build a capital ship reaper and the rest make destroyers. (Since its one per cycle and we see a lot of capitals at the battle of Earth and Palaven, imagine the number of cycles.) Cerberus is more a guerrilla force than a large conventional army. They probably wouldn't have a super large fleet either. In "reality" I make a educated guess of 50 to 80 ships. If someone has a good idea for Cerberus please share.
