I think if I heard the Reaper horn outside, I would be running and arming myself . Lists of sounds you don't want to hear! 1. Reaper horn 2. Flood sounds from Halo 3. Sovereign assuming control 4. Banshee cry 5. The Tank from L4D

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that how the ME universe is? With a mass relay in a cluster of stars? Or a few if I remember correctly? Mass Relays could be anywhere! Don't forget that due to regulations following the Rachni War the Counsel prohibited the activation of Mass Relays unless the destination was known and charted. This is what started the First Contact War, and the Mu Relay was knocked away by a Super Nova with just 50,000 years. It's very likely that there are many Mass Relays that have veered far off course.

I was wondering whether you were planning to include an orbital structure for each race to fill the role of the Vasari Phase Stabilizer (which allows for the creation of artificial/ directed wormholes).
The conduit (a mini mass relay) could be used to fill the role of such a structure.

There are two general types of galaxies: Dwarf Galaxies and the full sized ones your familiar with. Dwarf galaxies can have as few as 100 million stars in them sometimes less and are usually too dim to be spotted without very advanced scientific equipment (or unless very close to them). Normal galaxies can contain a few hundred billion stars and some can be as large as 1 trillion stars. The Milky Way, our home galaxy, contains between 200 and 400 billion stars. The bigger the galaxy, the bigger the super massive black hole that lies at the centre. Not all galaxies have super massive black holes at the center. Scientists have found some that don't and others, so called Active Nucleus Galaxies such as our Milky Way, do. Active Nucleus Galaxies (AGNs) that you are refering to are one of several types of galaxies. For example Starburst galaxies do not have a black hole at their center.

Your statement implied that all galaxies have them, so I figured that's what you meant. But, yes. AGNs are the most common, at least of the galaxies we've seen so far.

I thought black holes in the center of a galaxy was just a theroy? Did they discover something recently? o.O

I thought black holes in the center of a galaxy was just a theroy? Did they discover something recently? o.O No they've recently observed black holds at the centre of other galaxies ripping away at nearby stars. The black holes have been observed all across the cosmos.

Is there any idea at all ?? I'm just curious, and impatient lol Release was previously scheduled for July 2012, but Lord_Set postponed release for personal reasons. That said, if you're used to following mods, this mod is unusually consistent and expedient in its development. No one can give you a date and time, but it can be said that every day release inches closer. That's more hope than you can invest in most other mods. I have a related question for the development team: What file hosting service do you intend to use to distribute the mod for release? I wanted to warn you about some potential issues with ModDB and their Desura service.

My guess for the release of this mod is some point this month or beginning of September.

The reapers are obviously going to be the most expensive race too build, I am wondering, in order to have an interesting match, are medium to large maps best? as I can't really imagine going the reaper race...and not getting the chance to actually build a reaper... Looking forward to this, good to know that there are still people with good intentions when it comes to games (like mass effect) and not screw it up.

At any rate, you can bet that the reapers will be challenging even at the easier settings.

i remember reading something about replacing planet militia with reapers...( i would be quoting it but i couldn't find it)... i think that would be a great idea like it could be released as a patch after the first release.. not sure how many ppl would also like this but i would
