Does anyone know if this mod will have its own effects or bailknights mod, or perhaps both?

Good question, this mod needs some awesome effects, because face it, its not Mass Effect without lens-flares. Also i find slow weapon projectiles really really annoying, there is just no point to it if grandma could doge those bullets with ease

Don't worry, perhaps for the first release we'll use Bailknight's mod but our official release will have our own effects.

So any new news on any progress? i know its summer and all but still be good to be updated Lord_Set is moving. I'm finishing schooling and the others I believe are on holidays or trying to establish whats the next move in their life. In the next few months or so there will be a definite increase in activity. This is an apology to everyone. Sorry that the progress has slowed down greater than expected and it may look like the first release is off for quite some time.

Think of it this way, we're doing all the hard **** everyone has to do at one point in their lives now. That means when we're all done we can go at the mod full force.

This is something that I've been wondering about, will all of the original sins races still be in the mod when its released? It would be interesting to see how they do against Reapers.

That has already been discussed, the answer was in the negative. It was said that the modders might might consider doing so after the mod is completed.

I wouldn't mind that after the mod is finished. We would say that the Vasari are being chased by the Reapers

LOL no. Whatever is chasing the Vasari has to be much worse than the Reapers. I'm thinking sentient black-holes who are sick and tired of being pushed around by dark matter and being left with dead stars and the other scraps of the universe. just joking (about the black-holes, not about whatever is chasing the Vasari being much worse than the Reapers).

Reminds me of that episode of Star Trek: Enterprise where they showed a video of the psychological effects of the Expanse on Vulcans.
Just a whole bridge of Vulcans brutally murdering each other lol.
